January 2020!

January was a hectic month! We took a trip to Disneyland. Ben loved seeing all the characters this time (he was scared last time) and rode a lot of rides the first few days, then started to feel sick on the last day, so wasn't up for much. Unfortunately, despite having the flu shot in October, he had strain A of the flu (we think from a guy sitting near us on the plane on the way out). Nonna came out to rescue us for the first week of the semester so Craig and I didn't have to miss any work (thanks, Nonna!). We got to celebrate her birthday and take Ben to Zoolights at the Phoenix Zoo!

Also this month: we're still working on potty training and Ben graduated to a toddler bed. He loves his bed! He also got to feel his baby sister kick (due mid-May) and is getting excited that he'll have someone to play cars with soon (well, soon-ish).

Our favorite conversation with Ben this month:

(I throw a ball for Vincent, who doesn't fetch it)

Me: "What kind of dog doesn't go after a ball???"

Ben (in a very sincere tone): "Should we go buy a new dog?"

We're definitely NOT buying a new dog. LOL. Silly kid :)
