October 2020!!!

October has been crazy! Craig was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and has his thyroid completely removed on Oct 28th. Thankfully it appears that the cancer had not spread to any lymph nodes, so he should be cancer free without radiation therapy! We also found out that we have an active leak in our plumbing and mold in our house... FUN! We'll have some renovations starting soon.

Now for the fun stuff: Nora's been great! She turned 5 months old and is settling in to a regular sleep schedule (~7:30 pm to ~6 am). She's sitting up really well (doesn't need assistance at all). She's also starting to crawl. She can lift her belly off the floor, but ends up going backwards. She'll get it eventually :). Nora LOVES food and has tried rice crackers and rice cereal so far. Her favorite part of the day is joining us for meals with her crackers. She's so funny - she looks around to make sure everyone else is eating before digging in.

Ben is still a complete goof. He's getting taller every day - ~40 inches high now! This month his "why" button suddenly turned on. Most of the time we have fun answering him, but I'm sure it'll get tiring quick. Ben loves "dog racing" (running around the house pretending he's a dog) and playing with Nora.

Pawpaw came for a visit!!! He drove from Virginia to Arizona in two days! We got to take him to the zoo, to a pumpkin patch, on a hike and Craig got to take him golfing. It was a great, but short visit - can't wait to see him again!
