February 2023!!!
February was busy! I volunteered at the ASU West Campus OpenDoor Event (basically an open house), so Craig brought the kids to campus to keep them entertained. They built solar ovens and learned about thermal energy at my demo. They also built butterflies with fluttering wings, visited a fish lab, rolled in grass, and played with robots! At the end of the day Ben told me that he wants to go to work with me every day :)
We also went to the Super Bowl Experience at the Convention Center downtown. I thought we'd be there for an hour or two, but we ended up staying all day! Both kiddos got to practice their football skills - Nora is surprisingly fast! Ben got to take part in a training camp, too! We were all rooting for the Chiefs to win this year since they're Mema's favorite. While we were watching the Super Bowl, the kids emptied the entire contents of their dressers and made a huge pile of stuff on the floor. I was not pleased. LOL.
The Desert Botanical Garden hosted the Museum of the Moon exhibit this month, so we spent a late night out to check it out. The installation was AMAZING! We ran in to Ben's bestie, Max, there, too! The kids had fun looking through the telescope, making Moon craters, and playing with all the glowing balls and necklaces.
Lastly, we went to an art festival at Ben's school where we made sand art, decorated old records, and Ben assisted in a professional art installation by a graphic designer (https://youareamazing.art/).
Ben and Nora made solar ovens at the West Campus OpenDoor Event. They used their ovens to make s'mores :)

Craig living the dream. If you look carefully, the kids have four feet (LOL).
We still love the Cardinals despite their record this year :)
